Anurag Harsh is the national award winner of Sangeet Research Academy’s All India Greats music competition. He has given two solo concerts at New York’s Carnegie Hall and London's Royal Festival Hall. His second concert at Carnegie Hall broke audience records with attendance to rival a Bollywood show, the first Indian concert ever to be streamed live from Carnegie in 125 years, watched live by 173,000 viewers, the largest worldwide audience of any Indian classical concert online. The video of that concert is among the most viewed Indian classical music videos online. He was accompanied by celebrated drummer Sivanami and keyboardist Stephen Devassy at his Lincoln Center performance in New York launching the trio "Planet Shankara". Polished by three decades of rigorous training in Indian Classical music, Anurag has developed a voice so thunderous, it reminds listeners of his Gurus Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi and Gwalior maestro Pandit Chandrakant Apte. Anurag was inducted into music by his mother Pandita Asha Kaul, who was also his first Guru. He has performed all over North America including at many of the leading concert halls, Universities, Hindu Temples and missions around the nation. An active supporter of the arts, Anurag serves on the Board of Directors at the Indo-American Arts Council, the largest non profit in North America dedicated to promoting the culture and arts of India, as well as the Board of New York Indian Film Festival, the oldest South Asian film festival in the United States. He has authored 7 business books (Going Digital, Thinking Tech, The Empirical Leader, Money Can’t Buy You Love, Not Even a Like, The Professional’s Bible – Navigating the Modern Workplace, and Grow – Develop Yourself for Success) and over 500+ articles for leading US publications such as Forbes and HuffPost. Anurag Harsh is a graduate of the Wharton School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology from where he earned MS and MBA degrees.
